Trips and Expeditions

  • A field trip or excursion is a journey to a place away from their normal environment. The purpose of the trip is usually observation for education, non-experimental research or to provide students with experiences outside their everyday activities, such as going camping with teachers and their classmates.
  • The aim of this research is to observe the subject in its natural state and possibly collect samples. The children at SIS (Sparkrill International School) as a part of their learning regularly visit various centers whereby they relate the class room learning with the real life.

Expeditions: Sparkrill organizes educational tours every academic year separately for primary, upper primary and secondary grade students to give them an opportunity to spend time with each other in a new environment. To connect on more of a personal level without the structure of the normal school day. To spend much of day in small groups, observing, chatting and learning about each other and the places they visit.
